Children Ministry Mission Support for Beirut, Lebanon

Hello Logos parents and CM teachers,

The Philemon Project GROW Center, located in Beirut, Lebanon, was heavily damaged by the explosion that rocked the city on August 5 (see this article on this link).

The GROW Center, a project of EPC World Outreach, is led by Robert Hamd, a teaching Elder in the Presbytery of the Central South. The project provides early childhood development opportunities for at-risk and under-served Lebanese, Syrian refugee, and migrant children and their families in a Christian environment (visit: https://www.thephilemonproject.org).

They need our prayer and financial support for repairing the building, replacing books, toys, kitchen and everything ….

So here are our pleads to you:

1. We are asking for your continuous prayer for the Project Grow Center and Beirut city.

May Jesus gives them peace, healing and comfort for those who lost their families, their home, other properties.

2. I would like to invite Logos Children Ministry students to create a prayer card. I ask parents and Logos teachers to encourage their kids/students to write their word of prayers or simple encouragement letter. Logos Children Ministry and Agape fellowships will give $10 for each card that your kids/students make and submit them to me (you could scan or take a picture of it) by August 16.

3. You could also give your financial support and send it Logos directly (put a memo for Philemon Project). If you decide to donate money through Logos, please visit https://logospres.org/online-giving/.

Thank you.
